Settings for receiving online shopping earnings

Having trouble with receiving earnings from your online shopping purchases through RaiseRight? Learn about common issues and their solutions below.

Disable ad blocking software 

If you have an ad blocker enabled on your browser, RaiseRight can't send your shopping trip information from RaiseRight to the brand, meaning we can't track eligible online shopping orders. Some ad blockers that may cause this issue include: 

• AdBlock
• AdBlock Plus
• AdGuard
• uBlock Origin
• Ghostery

We recommend disabling your ad blocker completely to make sure you earn by shopping online through RaiseRight. Click your preferred browser below to learn more about managing your extensions: 

If you don't want to completely remove your ad blocker, many extensions like AdBlock, AdGuard, and Ghostery allow you to add a custom filter so RaiseRight can still track properly (also known as whitelisting). See instructions for adding a custom filter to each ad blocker below.

Adblock

1. Navigate to Options > Filter lists. 
2. Next, copy and paste the Whitelist URL into the Custom Filter Lists text box: https://www.raiseright.com/hubfs/rr-cashback-shopping-whitelist.txt 
3. Click the Subscribe button

Adblock Plus

1. Navigate to Options > Advanced. 
2. Next, select + ADD FILTER LIST VIA URL
3. Copy and paste the Whitelist URL into the text box that appears: https://www.raiseright.com/hubfs/rr-cashback-shopping-whitelist.txt 
4. Click the ADD A FILTER LIST button, then click UPDATE ALL FILTER LISTS to save

AdGuard

1. Navigate to Options > User rules
2. Visit this page and copy the contents: https://www.raiseright.com/hubfs/rr-cashback-shopping-whitelist.txt 
3. Paste those contents into the text box on the User rules page and click Save

Ghostery

1. Navigate to Options > Privacy protection, then toggle ON Custom Filters 
2. Click on Custom Filters
3. Visit this page and copy the contents: https://www.raiseright.com/hubfs/rr-cashback-shopping-whitelist.txt 
4. Paste those contents into the text box on the Custom Filters page and click Save

Popular browser extensions like Honey and Rakuten can keep you from earning by shopping online. Turn off these extensions when you shop online through RaiseRight as they might redirect your shopping trip and prevent you from earning. 

Use supported web browsers

We recommend using Chrome, Edge, or Safari browsers. Make sure you have the latest version of your browser installed and keep up with updates. Certain browsers with ad block features like Brave, DuckDuck Go, and Opera can also prevent RaiseRight from sending your shopping trip information to the retailer. 

We also recommend avoiding private or incognito mode since this might make your purchase ineligible for earnings.

Use supported mobile browsers

Mobile ad blockers (also known as content blockers) like AdBlock, Adblock Plus and uBlock Origin and mobile browsers like Brave, DuckDuckGo, Opera, etc., can stop RaiseRight from seeing where you're shopping so we can't activate earnings

We recommend that you shop with your Chrome or Safari browser on your mobile device, and disable content blockers while shopping online through RaiseRight.

If you have an ad blocker or content blocker for Safari on your iOS mobile device, follow the instructions below to disable it:

1. Open Settings and select Apps > Safari > Extensions
2. Under Allow these extensions, tap into the ad or content blocker
3. Toggle off the Allow Extension toggle

Repeat the steps above for each ad and content blocker you have installed.
