What is Ship to Coordinator?
Ship to Coordinator gives your participants the option to choose 'Ship to Coordinator” during checkout when placing orders for physical gift cards. You can enable or disable 'Ship to Coordinator' for your program at any time.
Turning this ON gives participants the option to ship their physical gift card orders to their designated coordinator. There is no shipping cost to the participant. The coordinator is responsible for managing the receipt of gift card shipments and distribution of orders.
Turning this OFF removes this shipping option for participants and limits their direct ordering product options to eGift cards, reloads on existing physical cards, and physical gift cards eligible for Ship to Home. (All products remain available for bulk and proxy orders placed by coordinators.)
How do I know if turning off Ship to Coordinator is right for my program?
Depending on the needs of the organization or the coordinator, it may make sense to turn it off for the following program types or situations:
- Prospective coordinators exploring and learning about RaiseRight
- Programs with seasonality, or breaks in participation
- Programs that are transitioning from one coordinator to another
- Coordinators that prefer to be hands-off, relying solely on virtual fundraising
- Coordinators on national organizations
- Coordinators that go on a vacation
